Trip to Chernobyl exclusion zone in the fall of 2016 shortly before the new sarcophagus was pushed over the old one.

Work on the original sarcophagus while the new one is almost ready to be pushed over it. ​

Pripyat the abandoned city, that has been looted to the last radiator and toilet bowl.

Surrounding Area #

The unfinished reactors close by, some of the monuments and exhibitions around the cleanup, and an abandoned building.

Duga-1 #

The Duga-1 radar station is close to the nuclear reactor and another impressive structure.
